Indigenous Fashion Collective Gala — October 2025 Highlight

At the Indigenous Fashion Collective Gala in Los Angeles, Stevens & Snyder made a defining statement in contemporary Indigenous couture and menswear styling.

Menswear Styling for the Gala

Stevens & Snyder dressed the majority of the men in attendance — honoring culture, sharp tailoring, beadwork, and personal expression. This included outfitting the evening’s charismatic host, Chance Rush, whose look blended modern elegance with cultural intention.

Your styling presence throughout the Gala helped set the tone for the night, showcasing how Indigenous menswear can be bold, elevated, and deeply rooted in identity.

Debut of Our First Couture Dress: Plume Woman

The Gala also marked a powerful milestone: the debut of Stevens & Snyder’s very first couture dress, titled “Plume Woman.”
Worn by the stunning Wasé Chief, the gown features:

  • Intricately beaded floral motifs

  • Crystal-studded bodice

  • Hand-placed white plumes

  • A silhouette that balances regalia influence with high-fashion elegance

“Plume Woman” represents a new era for Stevens & Snyder — expanding our work beyond menswear into couture that honors feminine power, beauty, and Indigenous artistry.

Stevens & Snyder at SWAIA Native Fashion Week May 2025

We are honored to share that our Mens Collection made its official debut at SWAIA Native Fashion Week, marking a defining moment in our journey as artists and storytellers. With bold silhouettes, meticulous beadwork, and culturally rooted narratives, the collection stood as both statement and ceremony. The reception was overwhelming in the best way—thank you to everyone who showed up, lifted us, and witnessed this milestone with us.

Just days before the runway, we had the privilege of presenting an intimate preview at Shiprock Gallery, just off the historic Santa Fe Plaza. This gathering allowed us to connect directly with collectors, curators, and community members in a space deeply steeped in cultural resonance and creative legacy.

Together, both showcases reflected our continued evolution and our devotion to celebrating Two-Spirit identity, Indigenous excellence, and fashion as living tradition.

This is only the beginning.

In Acknowledgment

Our deepest thanks to Chris Allaire for the beautiful feature in VOGUE, which so thoughtfully captured the heart of our work and the significance of our SWAIA debut.

Your words didn’t just describe the Beaded Birkin—they honored the story behind it. Thank you for celebrating Two-Spirit artistry and amplifying Indigenous voices with such care and integrity.

With our sincerest thanks,
Adrian & Sean
